BOSTON, JULY 2015 – For fall 2015 Boston-based New Balance will debut the Balance Elite Edition Pinball pack, inspired by well-known and often-played pinball machines from the 1990’s. The New Balance Pinball pack will include 4 styles for men and 2 for women and will debut beginning July 1 with a suggested retail price of $99.95 - $159.95.
The men’s New Balance Elite Edition 1600 and 580 take inspiration from various parts of a pinball machine including the red bumpers, blue paddles and steel grey mechanical parts. The men’s and women’s New Balance Elite Edition 530 and 999 and pay tribute to some of the greatest pinball machines from the 1990’s through color blocking.
In addition, a limited New Balance MRT580 will be released and is done in a full reflective silver synthetic to replicate a pinball machine “bonus ball.”
The Elite Edition Collection is curated from New Balance’s most heralded styles from collaboration programs and is one of the premium athletic offerings from New Balance for the sneaker enthusiast.
