NEW BALANCE INTRODUCES THE 1500
BOSTON, MA - Fall 2015 – This Fall 2015, Boston-based New Balance will add a new style to the REVlite collection with the addition of the 1500. Engineered to provide just the right amount of light stability for the road racer or lightweight training enthusiast, and available in two select colors for men and women beginning in January 2015 with the suggested retail price of $109.95.
The 1500 utilizes a full length responsive REVlite midsole for a light and responsive ride with a two-density carbon rubber outsole for durability. Intelligent geometries and a high-density medial post provide light stability for the runner, while T-BEAM aids with torsional stability in the shoe at mid-stance to help give the 1500 a smooth transition.
The upper on the 1500 strives for a snug fit around the instep, while utilizing a breathable air mesh and no-sew welded overlays in the quarter for a comfortable midfoot wrap. With a 6mm drop, the men’s size 9.5 weighs in at 6.9oz and the women’s size 7 weighs 5.9oz.
The New Balance 1500 continues to showcase visions of innovation and design with performance as first class. A modern, sleek design is created utilizing FantomFit in key places for additional lightweight support. Engineered on the VL-6 last, the 1500 provides light stability and is ready to handle whatever workout, race or training regimen is thrown its way.
