NEW BALANCE UPDATES AWARD WINNING FRESH FOAM ZANTE

~~BOSTON, April 2015 – This spring 2016, Boston-based New Balance will update the award winning Fresh Foam collection with the Fresh Foam Zante v2. Once again, data driven design combined with the smarts of a human designer come together to create an incredibly smooth ride that gives runners a quick feeling transition with all the qualities of Fresh Foam. The Fresh Foam Zante v2 will launch in February 2016 with a suggested retail price of $99.95

Fresh Foam Zante v2 remains the everyday running shoe for runners seeking a smooth underfoot ride that feels fast with every stride. The Fresh Foam Zante v2 is an evolution from its predecessor, preserving what runners have fallen in love with and updating with a fresh look.

Applying the same software aided design process as the first and second iteration Fresh Foam Zante, the New Balance design team focused on maintaining the coveted smooth, sleek ride. The Fresh Foam Zante v2 features finely tuned geometries, and slight finessing all geared toward helping runners pick up the pace. The form fitting last with a 6mm midsole offset  continues to provide runners with the familiar toe spring as the previousfirst Fresh Foam Zante modelsedition. Eliminating the need for traditional overlays, an engineered mesh can be found through the midfoot of the shoe to allow for soft, supple support.  Familiar to the Fresh Foam Zante, a bootie construction continues to give runners this sleek, arch-supported fit through midstance.

Fresh Foam Zante v2 takes the sleek, fast feeling ride found in the original Fresh Foam Zante, and engineers a responsible, refreshed update.  Appealing to a wide range of neutral runners, The Fresh Foam Zante v2 delivers a fast feeling running shoe in the smooth package runners have come to love in the Fresh Foam collection.
