NEW BALANCE UPDATES THE GO-TO STABILITY 860 SERIES

Release Date: 29 Jun 2016
860v7

~~Boston, MA - May 2016 - New Balance will introduce the seventh generation of its premium stability series this fall with the New Balance 860v7. The improved 860v7 offers a new modern look while delivering crucial support for the overpronator and an even softer, more supple upper. The 860v7 will launch in October 2016 with the suggested retail price of $ 124.95.

A new TRUFUSE midsole is engineered through a combination of two foams that work to deliver sustained cushioning and response for the long miles. The data collection and study of overpronators inspired midsole geometries and a hyper-focus to detail, all tailored toward a ride designed to strike the perfect balance of cushioning and support. Working in conjunction with the TRUFUSE midsole is a collection of tried and trusted stability features. A post-applied dual density post works to curb additional overpronation on the medial side of the shoe, while T-BEAM functions to provide crucial torsional stability at midstance. A blown rubber forefoot complements a data-driven flex groove design allowing the runner to enjoy a responsive, cushioned feel at toe-off.
The upper of the 860v7 retains an asymmetrical heel counter and midfoot support to hug the arch and allow these runners the security they need. An engineered mesh forefoot is strategically designed to allow for an exceptional fit and crucial support, while maintain a luxurious soft and breathable material package.. Continuing in the 860v7 is the popular neoprene stretch tongue and performance stretch lace to champion those essential details that fans of the 860 have demanded in this go-to stability series.

With a progressive combination of technologies that never ignores fashion, the 860v7 aims to elevate this runner’s experience even further than its predecessors, allowing the beauty of the run to remain, mile after mile.
