NEW BALANCE INTRODUCES THE 822v3, A SMARTER AND SLEEKER WOMEN’S CROSS-TRAINER

Release Date: 29 Jun 2016
822v3

~Boston, October 2015 – New Balance’s popular women’s only trainer featuring Fresh Foam technology has undergone a refresh
or fall 2016 that builds on the updates made in the v2.
The Fresh Foam 822v3 provides a revolutionary approach to training by combining ultra-plush cushioning with data-driven support. Featuring a wrapped medial rubber outsole and an asymmetrical upper design to offer superior comfort and stability, the Fresh Foam 822v3 will launch in July 2016 with a suggested
retail price of $99.95.
Utilizing data derived from high-intensity workouts conducted in New Balance’s sports research lab, designers focused on creating medial support in the upper as well as a medial rubber wrap to provide lateral support and traction where it’s needed during the most demanding workouts.
The lightweight, plush cushioning of Fresh Foam in the midsole gives excellent response without adding unnecessary weight to help her move freely through her workout.
The sleek, modern upper design features no-sew overlays and a gusseted tongue, as well as imprint foam on the heel and collar, wrapping the foot in total comfort. Flex grooves in the outsole are strategically placed to support the natural movement of the foot during multi-directional movements.
The 822v3 will be available starting in July 2016 in two colorways and a range of sizes and widths.
