NEW BALANCE UPDATES PREMIUM STABILITY RUNNING SHOE FOR FALL 2016

Release Date: 29 Jun 2016
1260v6

~~Boston, MA - December 2015 - New Balance will introduce the sixth generation of its premium stability series this summer with the New Balance 1260v6. The improved 1260v6 utilizes enhanced technologies, deluxe materials and intelligent geometries to deliver premium stability in a luxuriously cushioned ride. The 1260v6 will launch in July 2016 with the suggested retail price of $149.95.

Continuing to battle over-pronation, the 1260v6 provides the necessary degree of support but does so even more deceptively than its predecessors by emphasizing cushioning first and foremost. A layer of ABZORB foam gently covers the top of the post-applied dual density post to give a softer underfoot feel without jeopardizing support.  This full length ABZORB midsole, coupled with T-Beam in the midfoot, provides an extensive amount of shock absorption and torsional stability, while an N2 pod in the heel is designed to soften the impact for heavy strikers. A forefoot drop-in of REVlite coupled with a soft, all new blown rubber forefoot provides a plush, bouncy feel at toe-off.

In the upper, an engineered mesh allows the toes to splay in the forefoot, while maintaining the essential feeling of support and stability through its custom design with strategically placed overlays hugging the arch and instep at midstance.

On long runs and short runs the 1260v6 provides support to the moderate overpronator and takes cushioning to the next level.
