Release Date: 29 Jun 2016
Leadvillev3

~~BOSTON, MA – January 2016 – Boston-based New Balance will introduce the Leadville v3, an update to the successful Leadville 1210v2. The New Balance Leadville v3 is a trail running shoe offering an optimal blend of premium protection and lightweight cushioning designed for the ultra-runner. The Leadville v3 will be available in July 2016 with the suggested retail price of $124.95.
The Leadville v3 utilizes N2 cushioning and a REVlite midsole for a light, responsive ride. A Vibram® outsole offers durable protection while a gusseted tongue is used to deny dirt and debris and help keep the runner comfortable. An asymmetrical heel counter and a medial post are utilized in this series to help prevent over-pronation. A bronze emblem is emblazoned on the tongue of the shoe as a nod to the coveted bronze belt buckle that Leadville Trail 100 Run finishers receive for completing the race in less than 25 hours.
The synthetic/mesh upper on the Leadville v3 strives for a glove-like fit, utilizing Fantom Fit and ¼ length Sure Lace. With a multi-directional lug outsole, this versatile shoe is appropriate for all types of rugged terrain. The Leadville v3 features an improved sockliner for better fit and comfort. Weighing just 10.35oz for a men’s size 9.5 and a women’s size 8 weighs 8.75oz, these ultra-trail shoes are ready to take on any distance race and not give the runner any unnecessary weight.
The Leadville v3 features the official “Leadville Race Series” logo on the insert and “Leadville” is printed on the lateral side of each shoe. Engineered on the UL-1 last, the New Balance Leadville v3 Trail allows ultra-runners feet to expand and is ready to take on any terrain, and any distance thrown its way.
