New Balance Releases the New 327 Undyed Colorway

Release Date: 21 May 2020
327 Undyed

BOSTON, AUGUST 2020 – Boston-based New Balance is excited to introduce the new 327 silhouette, a style inspired by the brand’s iconic running model’s of the 1970’s. The first colorway of the men’s and women’s New Balance 327 will be available at global retailers and www.newbalance.com beginning May 9 with prices ranging from $90-$120.

The New Balance 327 emphasizes a shift to the simpler, stripped-back design aesthetic reminiscent of the company’s heritage running styles. The shoe features a lightweight upper construction and oversized N logo making a bold, vintage-inspired statement. With the New Balance “Intelligent Choice” label on the inside of the tongue, the design creates a sense of nostalgia. The 327 balances classic features with modern updates for a bold new silhouette—a new modern classic.

The New Balance 327 Undyed color is an expression of materials in their natural state. Every aspect of the silhouette is left “undyed,” with no pigmentation or coloration added. Removing these processes saves water, energy and waste compared to their colored counterparts.

The 327 Undyed offers a modern interpretation of ‘70s simplicity, and highlights the importance and beauty of creating a more sustainable future. The result? A bold style suitable for everyday wear, a must-have for anyone looking for retro-runner style in a modern silhouette.

The first 327 style—a collaboration with sport fashion house Casablanca—debuted at Paris Fashion week. Additional colorways and collaborations will roll out throughout 2020.
