Cleveland Cavaliers Point Guard and 2022 NBA All-Star Darius Garland joins New Balance’s roster as their newest basketball ambassador
Boston, MA – November 29, 2023 - Today, New Balance welcomes 2019 NBA fifth overall pick and 2022 NBA All-Star, Darius Garland, as the newest member of the New Balance basketball family. The signing represents another move by New Balance to create a unique roster of athletes that are leaders on the court and trendsetters off the court.
Darius is a dynamic guard known for his exceptional ball handling, quick directional changes, excellent court-vision and prolific shooting from all around the court. In his young career, Darius has been a rising star. He earned his first NBA All-Star honors in 2022, where he averaged 21.6 points per game, 7.8 assists per game and 1.2 steals per game, while shooting 46.2% from the field and 41.0% beyond the arc.
