BOSTON, JULY 2015 – For Fall 2015, Boston-based New Balance will debut the New Balance 1550. Inspired by the classic New Balance 1500 and 1600, the 1550 is a modern silhouette for a 24/7 lifestyle. The New Balance ML1550 and MD1500 will be available beginning July 1 at www.newbalance.com and select retailers for a suggested retail price of $99.95-139.95.
The New Balance ML1550 is a modern interpretation of the New Balance 1500 and 1600. The style offers a streamlined synthetic and mesh upper with reflective details on the saddle, foxing and ‘N’ logo. Premium lifestyle details include veg tan accents on the tongue and footbed; REVlite technology; gum rubber sole; round laces; and, a heathered liner.
The New Balance MD1550 has been re-engineered with performance FANTOM FIT technology that provides lightweight support and fit using a no-sew process for overlays. The style offers premium details on a sporty silhouette including a pigskin lining and tongue.
Both styles are an example of the next evolution of New Balance Lifestyle which offers the 24/7 consumer silhouettes that meld the best of New Balance performance and lifestyle.
