NEW BALANCE DEBUTS VAZEE COLLECTION FOR FALL 2015

Release Date: 01 May 2015
New Balance Running Vazee Collection: Vazee Rush

BOSTON, May 2015 – This summer, Boston-based New Balance will debut their latest performance running line embracing athlete’s inherent need for speed. More than just an assortment of new styles, the Vazee collection embodies the attitude shared by all runners who want to move faster and go farther. The Vazee Pace, Rush, and Coast will launch in July 2015.

Drawing inspiration from Team New Balance athletes like World Champion Jenny Simpson and three-time US Steeplechase Champion Emma Coburn, the Vazee Pace was designed to put speed first and foremost. A sleek, efficient midsole allows for an unencumbered ride and zippy transition while the VL-6 last gives the shoe exceptional toe spring and a feeling of quickness underfoot. Featuring a podular design, the outsole allows ample flexibility in the forefoot for a fast feel regardless of pace.

Acknowledging the demands placed on the foot at quicker speeds, the upper of the Vazee Pace was designed to ensure a secure, second-skin like fit. Featuring a deconstructed heel counter and bootie construction, the upper keeps the foot contained, not restricted, allowing for snug midfoot wrap but ample splay at toe off. The Vazee Pace will launch in July with the suggested retail price of $110.00.

The Vazee Rush is designed for those who seek speed in the gym, on the road, and in life. Engineered with a REVlite midsole and a sprung forefoot, athletes can enjoy a quick transition from midstance through toe off. A podular, flexible blown rubber forefoot is designed with quick reactions in mind, whether pushing straight ahead or even side to side, for runners that require more lateral movement in their training. With a midfoot saddle and a no-sew bootie construction, the Vazee Rush offers a socklike fit and and breathable, supportive feel. A deconstructed heel counter complements the purposeful, sleek design to offer lightweight support without feeling restrictive.

The Vazee Rush presents a sleek silhouette in multiple colors, blurring the lines of performance running and contemporary fashion. The Vazee Rush will debut July 2015 with a suggested retail price of $89.95.

The Vazee Coast beckons you to live life unscripted and just go. The full-length, ground contact IMEVA midsole creates resilient cushioning for your day. With an 8mm drop, no-sew upper overlays and a deconstructed heel counter, the Vazee Coast helps to take you everywhere you want to go, and debuts in July 2015 with a suggested retail price of $74.95.

The Vazee Pace, Rush and Coast join the New Balance performance running line-up to be the shoe of choice as runners endeavor the miles and roads, achieving their goals and finding their Vazee moment.
