Boston, MA – Sept. 18, 2023 – New Balance revealed the newest version of the brand’s franchise basketball shoe, the TWO WXY v4. The TWO WXY v4 combines cutting edge technology and performance enhancing features, giving the two-way player a new tool in order to dominate the court. The TWO WXY v4 will be available at select retailers and www.newbalance.com starting September 22nd with the suggested retail price of $120.

 

The new TWO WXY v4 features the groundbreaking use of FuelCell technology with Fresh Foam, creating the ultimate combination of rebound and cushioning. FuelCell continues to provide the ultimate in energy return, ensuring every step feels explosive and dynamic. Fresh Foam offers unparalleled cushioning for maximum comfort for the entire game. The upper construction features a lightweight textile that reduces weight while remaining supportive and breathable. Whether the player is hitting the clutch shot or locking down the opposition, the TWO WXY v4 gives players the tools to play at a high level.

The first launch colorway, called Dualism, draws inspiration from the two-way player and how the contrast speaks to not having weaknesses on the court. Houston Texans Defensive End and Third Overall Pick of 2023 NFL Draft Joins Chase Young as the Next Klutch Athletics by New Balance Ambassador

Los Angeles, CA and Boston, MA - September 18, 2023 – Klutch Athletics by New Balance, the sportswear brand founded by Rich Paul, is proud to welcome Will Anderson Jr., the Houston Texans defensive end and third overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, as the newest ambassador for the brand. Will becomes the second American Football ambassador for both New Balance and Klutch Athletics by New Balance, joining Washington Commanders defensive end Chase Young as the brands continue to integrate themselves into American Football.

As the newest member of the New Balance family, Will is actively involved with the brand’s design team on the development of a new American Football cleat, due to launch in 2024. New Balance’s entry into the American Football scene is a testament to its strength in team sports and understanding of an athlete’s needs. In 41 games, Will claimed 34.5 sacks and 204 combined tackles, was a two-time SEC Defensive Player of the Year and a two-time unanimous All-American, and was an integral part of the team’s 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship.

Los Angeles, CA and Boston, MA (April 12, 2023) –Klutch Athletics by New Balance, a new sportswear brand from Rich Paul, is proud to welcome second overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft Chase Young as the first ambassador for the brand. This also names Chase as the first American Football athlete for New Balance, marking the brand’s official foray into the new category.

Young was the second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and had a standout rookie season. He started 15 games and racked up 44 tackles and 7.5 sacks en route to being named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. During his college career he was named a unanimous All-American and was a Heisman Trophy finalist, where he became just the ninth defensive player out of 159 total finalists since 1982.
