New Balance Pledges $1 Million to Ukraine Humanitarian Relief
March 4, 2022 - “During the past week we have witnessed the unimaginable in Ukraine. As a values-led company that cares deeply about the global communities in which we operate, New Balance is driven to act and has pledged $1 million to Ukraine humanitarian relief. To fund the most urgent aid, New Balance will immediately donate $100,000 to The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), which is providing first aid training, evacuation support, food, water, and shelter to the Ukrainian people. In the coming months, we will distribute the remaining $900,000 to charitable, needs-based nonprofit organizations that can supply the most vulnerable people with food, clean water, clothing, and shelter. We are proud of our longstanding presence in Ukraine and our close connection with our Ukrainian distributor. New Balance stands together in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.”
New Balance has also suspended product shipments to Russia.
