JOE FRESHGOODS & NEW BALANCE ABZORB 2010
A special-edition ABZORB 2010 utilizes unique textures and materials to express the ways
confidence manifests itself in different individuals.
Boston, MA, November 2025 – Joe Freshgoods unveils his next collaboration with New Balance, featuring his take on the ABZORB 2010.
Joe Freshgoods uses unique textures and materials for an experimental design that examines the ways in which confidence manifests itself in individuals. A printed bouclé material adds a soft, worn-in look and feel to overlays across the upper, while detachable metal chains with ‘JFG’ charms provide an inventive look at customizable branding.
“These shoes embody both the unpredictability and balance of modern life — bold, layered, and refined.” – Joe Robinson, Founder and Creative Director of Joe Freshgoods.
The ABZORB 2010 combines the excitement of a progressive, all-new style with a sense of the familiar. The segmented ABZORB sole unit, a signature feature of several 2000s-era fan favorites, features more expansive proportions, becoming the centerpiece of this new design. This eye-catching visual is paired with a diamond-knit mesh upper, for an updated twist on a classic look.
