Boston, MA – January 29, 2024 – Today New Balance is announcing the release of the Fresh Foam BBv2, an evolution in the brand’s basketball performance line. The Fresh Foam BB v2 brings cutting-edge updates that blend innovation, comfort and style for the positionless player who needs to stay fresh through the fourth. The Fresh Foam BB v2 will be available at www.newbalance.com on February 2nd with the suggested retail price of $130.
New Balance athlete and star guard Zach Lavine has worked closely with the design team on the newest installation in the Fresh Foam BB franchise to create a shoe that truly stands out. Zach said, “This is my favorite performance shoe, hands down, and I am proud of the work I did with the design team. This is the only shoe I want to wear when I get back out on the court. We also have some fire PE’s coming this season that I can’t wait to showcase.” The Moon Beam colorway is inspired by Zach’s elegant and sophisticated off-court identity, adding a touch of personal style to the latest model of performance footwear.
The New Balance Fresh Foam BB v2 brings next-level comfort with dual density Fresh Foam midsole with a combination a firmer foam on the perimeter and a softer durometer foam directly underfoot. The New Balance design team spent a lot of time focusing on the underfoot sensation and the full-length Fresh Foam midsole provides a smooth heel to toe transition. The hexagonal outsole pattern provides elite level traction for those quick cuts to the hoop.
