NEW BALANCE REVEALS NEXT GENERATION TEKELA V5, CRAFTED FOR CONTROL

17th June 2025 – New Balance has revealed the next generation of its signature control football boot, the Tekela v5. The first edition Tekela v5 will be available to buy starting 24 June 2025 at www.newbalance.com/soccer.

The Tekela v5 is crafted for control, providing a dynamic, precise sense of touch for players who dictate the game with their vision and technique. A lightweight microfiber upper features strategically placed debossed channels and printed grip for an intuitive boot-to-ball feel. The one-piece Hypoknit stretch-fit booty collar contours around the ankle for a natural-feeling, while central lacing offers easy entry and a personalised fit. The Tekela v5 will be debuted by New Balance athletes Endrick, Jordan Huitema, Harvey Elliott and Tim Weah showcasing its capabilities on the pitch in upcoming matches.

The first edition Tekela v5 arrives with a sleek, modern aesthetic, highlighting its advanced control features. A lightweight nylon outsole featuring a coned and angled stud configuration built for 360-degree traction, supporting dynamic play and multi-directional movement.

Following the launch of the first edition, additional colourways of the Tekela v5 will be introduced. The first edition Tekela v5 will be sold starting 24 July for the suggested retail price of $215 and will be available to buy from selected retailers and online at www.newbalance.com/soccer.
