Boston, MA – July 24, 2025 – New Balance has introduced the Atalanta BC Away Kit for the 2025/26 season, a design that fuses historical inspiration with contemporary style.
The Away kit is a celebration of both the club's rich history and modern aesthetics. The Angora body of the shirt is subtly enhanced by incomplete vertical stripes that emanate from the top front and lower back. This unique design is a contemporary interpretation of the vibrant patterns favoured on Atalanta kits from the late '80s and early '90s, offering a fresh take on a beloved era.
Further emphasising the historical connection, the club badge on the Away kit draws inspiration from an earlier chapter of Atalanta's heritage. It features the elegant gold silhouette of Atalanta in stride, directly taken from the club crest introduced in 1963. This detail serves as a powerful symbol of the club's enduring legacy.
The Away kit is completed with matching shorts, also featuring Atalanta’s silhouette. The socks complement the look with distinctive twin horizontal bands, framing the word "dea" at the front and the iconic New Balance logo at the back, reinforcing the club's proud identity.
"The Atalanta 2025/26 Away kit is a perfect blend of past and present," said Kenny McCallum, Senior Director of New Balance Football Product. "We wanted to create a design that not only stands out but also tells a story, connecting today's fans with the vibrant history of the club."
“Angora remains the dominant colour in the Away kit,” said Romano Zanforlin, Commercial and Marketing Director of Atalanta BC. “It represents a strong link to the club’s history and tradition. The Away kit blends iconic elements from the past with a modern design, combining elegance and identity. We’re very pleased with the result.”
As with all its 2025/26 kits, New Balance has again integrated cutting-edge performance technology into the kit designs. Developed using NB Dry technology, the shirt features advanced moisture-wicking fabrics designed to help keep players cool and dry, both on and off the pitch. Precision detailing, including dimensional heat transfers and breathable side panels, ensures the highest standard in fit and comfort.
The New Balance Atalanta 2025/26 Away kit will be available for purchase from July 24 at 10am CEST on www.newbalance.com and at selected Atalanta stores and retailers across Italy.
