NEW BALANCE RELEASES STUDIO COLLECTION FOR SPRING 2016

Release Date: 29 Jun 2016

~Boston, April 2015 – For Spring 2016, New Balance will introduce a new line of apparel and footwear exclusively for women in the studio, the NB Studio Collection. The range will offer the key pieces she needs to achieve peak performance in her ever-evolving fitness routine as well as the style she demands to look and feel her best throughout the day. New footwear styles in the collection include the WF118 Studio Skin, WL118 Ballet Flat and WF618 slip-on sneaker, ranging from an MSRP of $54.95 to $67.95.
Designed specifically for studio activities that don’t require traditional footwear, The WF118 Studio Skin acts as a second skin to give you support, cushioning, and traction for a performance experience that goes beyond barefoot. Made from NB
Fresh-treated stretch material with Fantom Tape technology, the WF118 Studio Skin provides strategic support and a performance aesthetic with cutouts for breathability and freedom of movement, while resisting odors. The open heel helps keeps you grounded during your workout and the cushioning and silicone pads on the ball of the foot and in the arch offer extra support and traction for studio-based classes like barre, Pilates, dance, and any other activity that would otherwise be done barefoot.
For trips to and from the studio, the WL118 Ballet Flat offers the ease and style of a slip-on combined with the comfort and technology of a performance silhouette. Incorporating Fantom
Tape technology for dynamic support, the WL118 Ballet Flat features a FlipDuo comfort insert with an imprint foam “memory top” on one side and massaging EVA pods on the other. When the insert is removed, the WL118 may be worn with the WF118 Studio Skin for a seamless transition in and out of class.
The WF618 slip-on sneaker has a seamless inner construction
and a Cush+ midsole for ultimate comfort underfoot and
all-day performance. Fantom Tape technology creates lightweight strategic support and a fresh performance aesthetic. Stretch laces and an open collar make the WF618 an easy slip-on sneaker when on the go.
The Studio NB Apparel Collection, which launched in fall 2015, will expand in spring 2016 to include an assortment of performance tops and pants, as well as layering pieces to take her to and from the studio. The new collection, available starting in July 2015, will include the luxurious brushed fleece Sunrise Sweatshirt ($75);
moto-inspired Shadow Jacket ($115.00); fitted Studio Cami ($50.00); and the relaxed-fit Purity Pant ($85.00).
