NEW BALANCE INTRODUCES THE 574 FRESH FOAM, THE NEXT EVOLUTION OF NEW BALANCE LIFESTYLE
BOSTON, August 2015 – For Fall 2015, Boston-based New Balance will debut the New Balance 574 Fresh Foam. The iconic 574 silhouette is reinvented with a performance Fresh Foam sole unit, creating a whole new style that is the next evolution of New Balance Lifestyle. The New Balance 574 Fresh Foam will be available in five styles beginning July 1 for a suggested retail price of $124.95 - $149.95.
The New Balance 574 Fresh Foam combines the best performance technology with a classic silhouette that bridges the gap between the lifestyle and performance categories. The style is an example of the reinvention of heritage classics where performance, sport and classic silhouettes are combined for a silhouette designed for a 24/7 lifestyle.
The New Balance 574 Fresh Foam offers a new, lower profile silhouette is based off the New Balance 574 upper, with minimal tweaks, offering a sporty, clean style without sacrificing trademark 574 details including the traditional collar and single stitch ‘N’ logo with backer. Two styles pay tribute to the iconic 574 with traditional red and and grey colorways done in synthetic and mesh. Three styles are done in full leather invigorating performance and classic silhouettes with new premium materials. All styles offer the New Balance Fresh Foam “Excellent Ride” logo on the insert.
New Balance Fresh Foam is a ground-breaking performance sole engineered to bring natural underfoot geometries alongside a cushioned ride with a blend of super soft foam that is incredibly plush. A blown rubber outsole offers durability and flexibility in a more natural drop last while providing both a light and stable ride.
The New Balance 574 Fresh Foam leather upper will be available beginning July 1 for a suggested retail price of $149.95. The New Balance 574 Fresh Foam synthetic and mesh will be available beginning August 1 for a suggested retail price of $124.95. Both styles will be available at select sneaker boutiques and retailers nationwide.
