Bio
Tim Cahill has scored goals, created goals, rallied his team-mates, inspired others to follow him, and has acted the perfect ambassador for the game of football in Australia. Making his international debut in 2004, Cahill went on to be the first Australian to ever score a goal at a World Cup. Cahill’s World Cup record only got better as he went on to score goal after goal, including a strike in the 2014World Cup that some commentators have described as the best they had ever seen at an international tournament. A firm fan favourite at every club he has played for, Cahill particularly endeared himself to the Goodison faithful when part of the Everton team through his desire to do anything he could to help the team win.
Quote
“I have played in many boots throughout my career, yet New Balance has come along and really surprised me with the designs of the boots and the ethos of the company. Everyone I have spoken to there is really excited about bringing the company’s history and knowledge to the global football market, and I think everyone from the Sunday Leagues to international players are going to enjoy the products the brand are creating.”
